I have always struggled with feeling settled, safe and secure especially in the last month as we've had to move out of our home due too mould and pipe issues. As someone that has moved around 30 times since my childhood, i've never had a home and i've always been on the move. Yet in the past month i've also came to the realisation that it doesn't matter were I live or where I am because its in me to feel safe, secure and settled. No house can give or take that feeling away from me because it's me that holds it within. Home is within me. This painting has helped me release deep emotions and i'm so grateful for it. I hope you get your own little message from this piece like I did.
